Use distance to help assess connectivity

Seoul node for Northeast Asia

The reference average latency for Northeast Asia is 30~50ms. Use this to compare locations, not as a guaranteed result for every local connection or a measure of download speed.

Latency matters more than distance

SSH command-line interaction is mainly affected by round-trip latency. Screen sharing is also affected by packet loss, jitter, resolution and image quality settings. Performance can vary by ISP and time of day, even on the same node.

Test on your usual network before booking for longer.

Test your actual workflow

After connecting, try running commands, dragging windows and transferring project files. For smoother graphical interaction, lower the remote display quality first. For automated builds, focus on whether jobs complete reliably.

Bandwidth, latency and task duration are different metrics.

Plan large file transfers separately

Your first sync of a repository, model or asset library may take longer than machine provisioning. Use incremental syncs after that, and save important outputs to your own storage to avoid retransferring entire directories.

The 4-minute connection estimate excludes tool installation and file uploads.

From booking to your first connection

Get connected in four steps

Have an email address, a payment method and a remote access client ready. You can usually connect in about 4 minutes. Payment confirmation, network conditions and provisioning progress can affect the wait.

  1. Sign in and choose a configuration

Sign in to the console with your email, then choose a machine, node and rental period. Check the chip, unified memory and primary drive capacity, and whether you need an external SSD or Thunderbolt 5 daisy-chaining.

    Estimated time: about 1 minute

  2. Review the total and pay

We accept USDT-TRC20 and Visa / Mastercard / Amex (via Stripe) only. All charges are in USD. Card payments are subject to gateway confirmation; USDT-TRC20 payments require on-chain confirmation. Available payment gateways are determined by the backend response.

Estimated time: about 1 minute; payment confirmation may take longer

  3. Wait for provisioning

Once payment is confirmed, check provisioning progress in the console. Find the host, port and initial credentials in the instance details; do not rely on email content for credentials.

Estimated provisioning time: about 1 minute; check the console for progress

  4. Connect and run a quick check

Sign in for the first time over SSH or screen sharing, change the initial password, and check macOS, available disk space and network connectivity. Once the connection is stable, sync your project, install tools and start longer jobs.

Estimated first connection time: about 1 minute; environment setup takes longer

Three things to check before booking

About the Seoul node

Check whether the connection suits your needs before choosing a machine and rental period. Location is a starting point; your own project and local connection are what matter most.

Will I definitely get 30~50ms latency from Northeast Asia?

The reference range is not a guarantee for every connection. ISP routing, wireless networks, congestion between networks and client settings can all affect performance. Try a daily booking first, then test SSH, screen sharing and file transfers on your usual work network before extending your rental.

Can I run builds here if I’m outside the node’s nearby service area?

Assess it against your workflow. Automated builds rely less on continuous graphical interaction, so focus on how smoothly you can fetch code, download dependencies and retrieve build artifacts. Long sessions using a remote desktop benefit more from low latency. Don’t judge by one latency figure alone; time a complete end-to-end task first.

Do I need to choose a configuration again after selecting Seoul?

The machine buttons on this page carry the selected configuration through to your order. You’ll still need to confirm the node and billing period at checkout. XN Core M4 and XN Pro M4P are both listed for this node; check the console for current availability. The period selector displays prices only—it won’t place an order or charge you.

Book a day and test a real task

From $21.4/day, you can verify your connection and project before booking more time. Check the node, rental period and final total in the console before placing your order.
